When a customer searches for custom bakery boxes, freshness is the first concern. A flaky croissant, a moist cupcake or a crisp cookie has to arrive tasting the way it left your kitchen. Every box we make is built for that job: it holds moisture in where the product needs it, keeps air and grease out where they do harm, and stops the contents sliding around in transit.
Our food-grade boards and precision-folded structures give even delicate pastries a stable, protected space. Options such as greaseproof lining, moisture-resistant coatings and fitted inserts add protection where a specific product needs it from oven to counter to your customer's door.
Whether you sell cookies, cakes, pies or brownies, the box is the last thing a customer sees before the first bite and the thing they carry through the street afterwards. A well-branded box turns every order into a small piece of advertising: your logo, your colours and your message stay in the kitchen long after the pastry is gone.
We print everything from pastry boxes to full-sheet cake boxes with your brand identity, so customers remember your name the next time they want something sweet. Ordering custom bakery boxes wholesale is an investment in repeat business, not just packaging.
A bakery rarely needs one box. A cake counter, a pastry case and a dozen-donut order each need a different size, a different board and sometimes a different closure. These are the styles we print most, and what each one is for.
Window bakery boxes. A clear PET or compostable film panel on the lid or the front, so the product sells itself through the box. Best for cupcakes, decorated cookies and small cakes on a counter. The trade-off: a window cut-out reduces the lid's stiffness, so for anything over 10 inches we recommend a solid lid with a printed panel instead. See window bakery boxes.
Kraft bakery boxes. Unbleached natural board with a rustic, artisan look and a lower carbon footprint. It prints darker than white board, so logos in black, deep green or burgundy work best; light colours need a white under-print. See kraft bakery boxes.
White bakery boxes. Coated white SBS board gives the brightest print surface and the cleanest look for wedding cakes and premium pastry. Most of our full-colour printed orders run on this stock. See white bakery boxes.
Pink bakery boxes. The classic West-Coast donut and pastry box, printed on pink board or flood-coated pink. See pink bakery boxes.
Luxury and rigid bakery boxes. Two-piece or magnetic rigid boxes for gift cakes, macaron sets and holiday assortments heavier board, foil and soft-touch finishes, priced for a higher shelf price. See luxury bakery boxes and bakery gift boxes.
By product. If you already know what goes inside, start from the product page: custom cake boxes for 6-inch to full-sheet cakes, cupcake boxes with 1-, 4-, 6- and 12-cavity inserts, cookie and pastry boxes, donut boxes for half- and full-dozen, pie boxes and macaron boxes. All of them use the same board options, printing and minimums described on this page.

Unit price on a printed bakery box is driven by three things: the quantity (press make-ready is a fixed cost, so it is spread thinner as the run grows), the board (kraft and 14pt white cost less than 18pt or rigid), and the finish (a window, foil or soft-touch adds a step). Here is how our pricing is structured.
Most reprints we see are caused by files, not presses. Five things that avoid them:
Ask for the dieline before you design every panel, glue flap and window cut is marked on it, and it is free.

Measure the product first. For a round cake, add about 1 inch to the diameter and at least 1 inch above the highest decoration; an 8-inch round therefore fits a 10 × 10 × 5 box. For counted items cupcakes, donuts, macarons the box size follows the insert: 6 cupcakes need a 10 × 10 footprint, 12 need 12 × 12. The size guide above lists the common sizes, and every one of them can be adjusted.
The boards are food-grade and the inks are low-migration, FDA-compliant. Grease resistance is a separate choice: for donuts, croissants and anything buttery, add the greaseproof lining so oil does not show through the printed panels. Dry items such as cookies and most cakes do not need it.
White SBS board gives the brightest, most accurate colour and suits full-colour printing and premium cakes. Kraft costs slightly less, reads as artisan and eco-friendly, and hides scuffs better, but colours print darker and light logos need a white under-print. Many bakeries run kraft for everyday pastry boxes and white for celebration cakes.
Yes boxes ship flat to save freight and storage. Lock-corner and auto-bottom styles fold up in a few seconds without tape or glue; tuck-end styles take slightly longer. If your counter staff assemble boxes during a rush, tell us and we will recommend the auto-lock style.
